story

The owners sought to integrate the style, materials, and scale of a 2,200 sq ft guest house we had previously designed for them on the same property into their new 12,000 sq ft primary residence. The design divides the house into three two-story wings, mirroring the proportions and aesthetic of the guest house. These wings enclose two low-roofed pavilions, with exterior finishes extending into the interiors of the pavilions. This approach enhances the perception of distinct structures while creating a seamless flow between indoor and outdoor spaces.
